Jun 7, 2024 · For multi-day trips, you’ll need 50 to 70 liters of backpack volume, but if you go ultralight, use compressible gear that doesn’t take up a lot of space, or can resupply frequently, like on a thru-hike, you might be able to get with a lower volume pack in that range.
