  2. Thanks for your answer. Is Minecraft hard limited to only use one core or could any forge mod (such as optifine) make it use multiple cores on 1.8.9 or other versions? Do you think Hyper-Threading generally makes a big difference when you have a powerful CPU or does it only really matter for e.g. heavily modded Minecraft?
