- Sage Young
- Lily Potter. When looking at the bigger picture, Lily Potter is a minor character in the movies. However, she has one of the most important roles. As Harry’s mother, Lily was a powerful and accomplished witch who passed down many of her greatest traits to him.
- Ginny Weasley. Similar to other supporting characters, Ginny's character arc wasn’t nearly as developed as the books' version. Ginny was introduced as the shy and intimidated youngest Weasley, however, she later formed her own identity and displayed great bravery when she actively fought in The Battle of Hogwarts.
- Nymphadora Tonks. Tonks' character arc was explored in greater depth within the books, however, she is still a memorable and beloved character in the movies.
- Hedwig. Hedwig is often a character that gets forgotten in the grand scheme of things. While she features significantly less than others, she was one of Harry's first friends in the wizarding world and remained his trusting companion throughout the movies.

- Juno, 'Juno' A wisenheimer beyond her years, this super engaging pregnant teen made smart-aleckyness an art form. "She just has this plethora of knowledge and wit you wouldn't expect from someone her age," Page tells THR.
- Peggy Olson, 'Mad Men' "Her naivete is her strongest trait," Moss once said of her 1960s-era ad exec character. "She's naive enough to voice her opinion.
- Dorothy Gale, 'The Wizard of Oz' Proving that knuckleheaded studio execs always have existed in Hollywood, suits at MGM wanted to cut Dorothy's opening number, "Over the Rainbow," out of the 1939 film (they thought it slowed down the movie).
- Monica Geller, 'Friends' Originally, Janeane Garofalo was cast in the part, while Cox was slated to play Rachel. She also was nearly censored in the pilot when she slept with a date on the first night.
- Hermione Granger. Hermione Granger was a muggle-born wizard, she was a student at Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor and she was a close friend of Harry Potter.
- Luna Lovegood. Luna Lovegood was a student at Hogwarts. She was sorted into Ravenclaw. She lived with her dad alone, because her mom passed away when she was 9.
- Molly Weasley. Molly Weasley is the mother of Ginny, Ron, Fred, George, Percy, Bill and Charlie Weasley and wife to Arthur Weasley. Molly Weasley is one of the sweetest characters in the books/movies and I think it’s safe to say that all of us love her.
- Ginny Weasley. Ginny Weasley is a pure-blood witch; she is the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor along with the rest of her family.
- Hermione Granger Is The Backbone Of Knowledge In The Golden Trio. It’s hard to think of the Harry Potter series without remembering the courageous and intelligent Hermione Granger.
- Professor McGonagall Is A Pillar Of Determination Protecting Hogwarts. Out of the many colorful presences in the teaching staff at Hogwarts, Minerva McGonagall easily shines the brightest.
- Luna Lovegood Has A Magical, If Different, Way Of Seeing Things. Even among the witches and wizards of Hogwarts, some characters are more magical than others.
- Molly Weasley Is A Fierce Mother Protecting Her Children. Molly is the warm, but surprisingly fierce, matriarch of the Weasley family. She embodies the same feelings of affection Lily and Narcissa display, but in a more well-developed way.
