Maps are the areas players are in during the game and are one of the most central features of Flood Escape 2. Every map is unique in layout and each provide a space to get to, buttons to press, and platforms to jump or move on. Players must press buttons and successfully escape to the safe zone while also avoid drowning in the rising flood to earn experience and currency.

Maps are sorted into six different difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane, Crazy and Crazy+. Harder maps are more difficult to survive, but reward more experience. The difficulty of the map is determined by the server's Intensity, which goes up or down depending on how many players survived.

As of December 21, 2023, there are 50 maps in Flood Escape 2. Eerie Peaks, Polar Industry, and Northern Workshop are seasonal maps that only appear during their respective seasons. Adding them raises the map count up to 53.

•Crazy and Crazy+ are the only difficulties to be added after Flood Escape 2 was publicly released.

•Coincidentally, they were both introduced in FE2 Community Maps Legacy first before being added to the main game.

•If Eerie Peaks, Polar Industry, Northern Workshop, Autumn Hideaway, Cave System (Classic), every unfinished map by Crazyblox (6), and every highlight (83 maps as of May 2024) were permanent maps, the map count would be 144.

•The reason as to why these maps are temporary is due to the first 3 being seasonal maps, Autumn Hideaway being tied to a serious event involving the map creator, and Highlights being designed to not be permanently added in the first place unless specified.

•Furthermore, every unfinished map by Crazyblox won't be added to the game as Crazyblox has discontinued them for a variety of reasons.

•Alongside these, Cave System (Classic) was replaced by the current edition we know today.

  2. On this page, you can find IDs that are playable in FE2CM. If there are any maps you want to add to this list, then feel free to add them.

  3. Rooms are stages connected together by vents, that make up the maps. In multiplayer modes, 3 random rooms will spawn in an order, that's assigned to them (like Maintenance has an assigned order of 2, so it can only spawn as second).

  4. Rooms are enclosed areas of the map that have multiple buttons or branch off into other areas and have mostly have one/multiple obstacle courses to complete. The list below are the rooms of every map. Note that the rooms are separated by gates or doors, sometimes vents or just gaps.

  5. In this intense game, you are trying to find your way out of 3 different parkour/puzzle levels, while water is falling from the ceiling. If you touch the water, you drown, so be careful! There is also a training level, it is recommended you try this first.
