Sep 6, 2015 · I have/had Toyotas with 230,000 and 290,000 miles that use (d) minimal oil between oil changes. It's not just one particular manufacturer. All engines if taken cared for can last longer. My 2003 Honda Pilot, I use a longer oil change interval of every 15k miles with NO oil added in between and it has 217k miles.
