The Library shared this exciting achievement in its recently published annual report. This number climbs even higher when you capture the savings benefits of digital books, online resources, and free programs offered by BPL.
As 2023 comes to an end, I am proud to take this opportunity to share with you all the many highlights of the year at Burlington Public Library. Through ARPA funding, we were able to expand our offerings to patrons through a variety of new databases (CreativeBug, BoldYoga, BookFlix) and add to our eBook and eAudiobook collections.

The library announced that members borrowed more than one million physical books last year, a classification that includes regular and large print hardcovers, trade paperbacks, mass-market paperbacks, graphic novels, manga novels, and children’s board books.
