- Woodstock. Definitely one of my absolute favorites, and one of the best places to stay in Vermont in the fall is Woodstock. You’ve probably heard this from others during your research as well, and it really lives up to its reputation.
- Quechee. Quechee (pronounced KWEH-chee) is a little village very close to Woodstock, so technically, you could stay in Woodstock, and make a little side excursion to Quechee.
- Stowe. Stowe is another one of my top favorites and one of the best places to stay in Vermont in the fall. Stowe is also pretty small, and is a big ski town, but it’s also amazing in the fall.
- Burlington. Burlington is one of the best places to stay in Vermont in the fall if you’re looking for more of a city atmosphere that still feels very, well … Vermont.
