Composed of an international group of astronomers, the Working Group on Star Names (WGSN) is an initiative that stemmed from the IAU Division C (Education, Outreach, and Heritage).
All 336 names are included in the current List of IAU-approved Star Names. [1] In 2019, the IAU organised its IAU 100 NameExoWorlds campaign to name exoplanets and their host stars.
