Upgrading from 16 to 32gb of RAM was the biggest performance increase I’ve had for Tarkov. I couldn't tell the difference. I second this, I went from 16 to 48 (accident lol) and didn’t really notice much difference that said I don’t get many issues on lighthouse but not checked how much is used on it.
In short, frames haven't increased by much, but there is a noticable difference of ~10 fps HOWEVER all the stuttering is gone, reduced to atoms. CONCLUSION: 8GB of ram for tarkov is not enough, 16gb is HIGHLY recommended, if you have 8GB of ram, notice stutters and tried all the optimizations, buy, then get a 16gb ram kit. Archived post.
