Weapons are tied to specific roles within each faction, with most roles allowing a choice of multiple weapons or weapon variants. Many weapons in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam feature select-fire between semi-automatic and automatic fire modes, as well as variable ammo-types, attachable bayonets, folding stocks, deployable bipods, and adjustable sights.
There's some design choices that seem pretty baffling. The PPSH is twice as accurate as the M3 Grease Gun. The Trench gun has almost twice the inaccuracy of the DB Hunting Shotgun. The 1911 has the same accuracy and firerate of the TT-33, but more than quadruple the vertical recoil and double the horizontal.

Dec 18, 2016 · When the ANZACS are added there will be a lot more weapons to choose from. There is also a distinct possibility that some special forces maps will be developed which would mean the Stoner 63 and other oddball weapons could be added.
