In NYC/NYS you get a recruit pay for the academy around 40-50k depending on agency. Then upon graduation and job place it gets bumped 10-15k starting not including location pay such as being upstate or downstate. My local county starts paying you on the first day of the academy.
Hello, I have been interested in becoming an LAPD officer for a while and I have been doing some research on their recruitment. Problem: (Make this make sense) So I have heard that LAPD has been low on recruitment but still revive about 600(correct me if mistaken), applications a month which doesn’t seem like bad numbers.
