It was priced at the equivalent of what would be about £120 today.
One of those reviews noted that this pen weighs half of what it should. I own both the modern and a 70s Jotter. Without the refills, they weigh 11 and 15 grams, respectively. So sure, the modern one is lighter, but a 4 gram difference isn't noticeable to my hand.
