This is great but on step 2 the amount of hz you set really depends on hardware. I have a 3070 and a ryzen 5600 and can hit a stable 120hz on 1.3x, or I can max the slider out at 90hz. Glad you mentioned something about the link cable. I almost returned my quest 2 until I realized i just needed a higher power usb port.
I use the reverb for sim racing and the quest for a few simple games that benefit from the wifi use. I caught one of the many sales HP has had this year on the G2....$450 a few months back. Easily the best VR for the money if your sim racing.

Definitely not one of those professional setups you’ll see on a Facebook/ insta post but for the 4 or 5 grand this setup cost I’d say it’s definitely worth it. But i know a 20xx series card does fantastic as well.
