    We always wear our jeans with wool socks and a long-sleeved shirt with a sweatshirt and a coat on top. I put the kids in gloves and some sort of head cover that protects their ears from the cold. Often, they’ll end up in just their sweatshirt and gloves, but I’ve found that dressing them in layers works well in case it’s cold or windy.
