The ambiance itself is semi fancy, quiet, obviously great views. The tables are on a platform that rotates (hence the 360 views). You HAVE to spend $75 min per person (it's really not hard to do), but they have so many options. You in fact CAN get the prix fixe menu a la carte- apps $20, main $55, dessert $15.

Family of 6 cost us $240 with tip. Now factor in the cost just to go up to the observation deck on the needle would run us $100 and the price isn't all that bad (restaurant guests go up for free and the view from the restaurant is better without all the safety nets and crap in the way) .
