Get a cloud key gen 2 plus. UniFi offered a mix of WiFi and wired cameras. Wouldn’t need much infrastructure additions if you go WiFi and have good WiFi coverage. Beware, you’ll need POE for the wired. Could force you to buy a POE switch. Just be aware the backup battery in the cloudkey Gen2+ will get swell overtime.
The cameras carry a premium cost over some other brands, because that extra cost is paying for the development of the Unifi Protect management platform. I am completely satisfied with Protect on my UDM-Pro. I use it with 2 G4 doorbells, a G4 Pro, a G3 Flex, and a G3 instant.
