Mar 9, 2009 · I've heard the regular stars got about a million a season maybe... but I think they also get a sales cut, and money every time an episode runs in syndication... at least for a while. The TOS people got paid in syndication for about 3 years IIRC.
At the high end, the main actors of TNG were pulling down about $1 million per episode each. At the low end, on the later shows the lower-tier regulars were pulling down $25-30k per episode. Reply reply

A bit of research shows that it's about 8 million for an episode. Quickly compared it with Star Trek TNG and their episodes cost about 1,3 million (3 mil in today's money). Taking into account the number of episodes, STD is 112 million per season and TNG was 78 million per year.

Dec 1, 2020 · according to Wikipedia the budget of an episode of Discovery is 8 to 8.5 million per episode. so about a 105 million a season, this is the average for most prestige television. as for the cast I could not find out.
