Freshmen Scholarships. College is expensive. That's why we offer scholarships and grants to help students with the cost of college. Scholarships and grants are forms of merit- or need-based aid that do not have to be repaid. Students can qualify for scholarships and grants from USF, USF Foundation, Bright Futures and other organizations.

The Miklos Scholarship is awarded to 2-3 top French scholars at USF annually who meet the criteria and are selected by a committee on the basis of merit, application, and essay. Selected students will receive an award of $2,000 to $3,000 per semester, which is renewable for up to 6 semesters if all of the qualifications continue to be met.
