Nov 26, 2008 · 606 posts · Joined 2005. #6 ·Dec 3, 2008. The FI cleaner product that the dealer uses sounds a lot like Valvoline's Fuel Rail Cleaner. This is a very effective fuel system cleaner. But it's also a very strong solvent. Toyota also has another FI cleaner product in a small can that you pour into 1/2 tank of gas.

Jun 26, 2021 · Add an entire bottle of Seafoam. Drive around for 30-40 miles, ideally at constant 1600-2200 RPM, like on the highway. It'll do the exact same thing. Seafoam is just highly-refined petroleum, you cannot put too much in your engine, but a concentration of 1 bottle to 2-5 gallons is more than enough concentration to safely clear out your injectors.

I am at 17,500 right now. I've had success with Seafoam in the boat as well as Berryman Chemtool for the lawn equipment. Thanks for the input.

Jun 29, 2018 · Unless you're having injector problems such as leaking or not spraying well, then NO I wouldn't do it. $200 is a joke every 30,000 miles. Otherwise use of Tier-1 gas should keep them clean without problems. If needed, I'd use Chevron Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner. 10 oz for $4.94 at Walmart.
