Price was raised in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Millsaps College with a BA in History. He has been involved in construction (where he earned the nickname “hold this”), various aspects of real estate, manufacturing, performance horses, cattle, mineral acquisitions and mortgage backed securities.
Jim represents the nation’s largest natural gas utility in its Mississippi operations, including its rate and other proceedings before the Mississippi Public Service Commission. He provides regulatory advice for a $90 million 100 megawatt solar generation facility in north Mississippi.
