These articles highlight the importance of integrating action on healthy eating and physical activity within a broader comprehensive school health framework. They include key findings from scientific background papers, which provided the evidence to inform the development of the 2008 WHO School Policy Framework. The articles acknowledge that further research is needed to strengthen the evidence base to inform future programs and policies.
