    Consumer electronics retailer Best Buy, through its "Geek Squad" service component, offers a variety of protection plans for items purchased in store or online. For either a one-time charge at purchase or a recurring monthly charge, a “Geek Squad Protection Plan” (or "GSP Plan") covers eligible repairs and, under certain conditions, even replacement of cell phones, computers, washers, dryers and other appliances. Though not widely advertised by Geek Squad or Best Buy, the fine print of your protection plan contract clearly states that you can cancel the service at any time, for any reason, and receive a pro-rated refund.

    Find your original receipt (s) and Protection Plan ("GSP Plan") contract documents.
