Twitch does not mix mod versions. It creates separate folders for each Profile created. And it would only show mods to install based on the Profile version, IE 1.7.10 mods if the Profile was 1.7.10. If the modpack you installed had miss matched mod versions, then that's the fault of the modpack author.
for those not using the curseforge launcher, look for the forge installer, click on the three lines at the top left corner and find your game version then download the installer. After the installer has been downloaded, open it with java then extract/install client then whichever one made the folder that says the version needed should be dragged into versions>folder of the modpack.

Mar 23, 2023 · Don't think Legacy Fabric and Fabric work well to allow 1.12.2 to 1.13+ but maybe, I just can't answer what I don't know about how different the structure may be. I mean having another modloader helps and the documentation is easy to get ahold, but if it was just Forge and you can't learn it your not making mods without another option then.
