The goal is to allow exchange data between Revit & cad system to insert for instance Hvac defined in Revit as a single volume part into Cad assemblies and not many elements as allow IFC format who require an unecessary long time of translation process.

Here are some advices: Before linking Revit files (of Structure and MEP) into the host file , create Worksets dedicated to these files ( one workset for Strucure file, one for HVAC, , one for plumbing and one for electrical).
