Turn the dial or press the button on your heat gun to set it to the highest setting available. Hold the heat gun 3–6 inches (7.6–15.2 cm) away from the bubble and pull the trigger for 3-5 seconds.

- Locate, Mark, and Cut the Damaged Section. You will need to be careful to remove all of the damaged film, so be thorough when identifying all the area that is damaged.
- Moisten the Section to be Removed. Spray a fine mist of water on the edges of the cut area to soften and loosen the film; do not use window cleaner that contains ammonia.
- Remove the Film. Use the corner of your razor again to slide under a corner of the square to be removed. Continue running the razor blade under the tint until the entire square has been removed from the window.
- Clean the Glass Inside the Squared Area. Spray the uncovered glass inside the cut area, and use a new paper towel to wipe away all film or glue remnants.
