Aug 29, 2004 · Inspired by the 1968 thread, I wanted to start a separate topic to discuss Upper West Side restaurant history.I'll contribute the first informational tidbit: the venerable Fine & Schapiro delicatessen on 72nd Street apparently dates to 1927.
