Nothing beats the charm of the first movie for me. Frozen 2 had more great individual scenes but as a whole Frozen is the best one. I know that Frozen 2 is considered a more "mature" film but what made Frozen great for me was the heart and the sincerity. It was a film about two sisters first and foremost and that alone made it incredible.
- Hans Doesn't Die At The End Like Most Other Villains. Not every Disney villain dies at the end of the film, but it's pretty standard that they do. Jafar is defeated in Aladdin, as is Gaston at the end of Beauty and the Beast.
- Elsa & Anna Save Each Other Without A Prince's Help. The absence of a heroic prince in Frozen meant Disney had to change their savior complex. In Frozen, Elsa and Anna aren't saved by princes but by each other.
- Frozen 2 Received A Theatrical Release Unlike Other Princess Films. If a Disney Princess movie was lucky enough to receive a sequel, that second film usually went straight to video.
