Saving Silverman presents an animated opening menu, easily accessed menu choices and an overall nice presentation for fans of the film. They're still a little skimpy on the extras but in the way of putting out solid discs, they are definitely carving out a niche for them selves as top drawer presenters.
Saving Silverman (2001) is one of my top 2000's comedies. 19 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and just 5.8 on IMDb. Haters gonna hate, this movie is fantastic!!
Anyone else here appreciate "Saving Silverman" as much as I do? This fucking movie. I must watch it 3-4 times a year. Jack Black & Steve Zahn form such a powerful combo throughout. It's a simple story but it's all just so hilarious & ridiculous.

The film is presented in an anamorphic widescreen and has been letterboxed at 1.85:1. This transfer looks fantastic, as there is practically no grain, and no distortion or noise present on the image.

This is the kind of movie that gives even its defenders fits of desperation.
The DVD VIDEO: "Saving Silverman" is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen by Columbia/Tristar. Although Tristar has slipped a little bit with a couple of recent releases, "Silverman" suprisingly looks exceptionally good. Sharpness and detail are terrific; the picture consistently looked smooth, bright and well-defined.
