  3. A wonderful introduction to the life of the Buddha. There are excerpts of the Dalai Lama and other monks which are very good, the narrated sections are of high quality, and some of the lay people have interesting things to contribute. I am relatively new to Buddhism.

  5. The animations and music during the analogy of the sitar and the middle way were particularly captivating. I saw this a year ago. This was a really great documentary. I was fortunate enough to come across this documentary on Netflix about a year ago and it remains my favorite film about Buddhism.
