A wonderful introduction to the life of the Buddha. There are excerpts of the Dalai Lama and other monks which are very good, the narrated sections are of high quality, and some of the lay people have interesting things to contribute. I am relatively new to Buddhism.

Basically, everyone but Americans pronounce it Buddha, as in bud. Americans pronounce it boodah. Which I find, as someone who isn't American, fucking annoying. Rather like Kreg instead of Craig (Crayg), peh-caaaan for pecan (pea-can). If I was as patient as Buddha maybe it wouldn't annoy me so much. Alas.
