Two questions about The Hitcher (1986) Movie Help. I just rewatched this movie for the first time in several years. Rutger Hauer gives such an incredible performance. The first 15 minutes of the movie might be my favorite. They are so scary and suspenseful to me.

I've been a fan of Rutger Hauer and this is a good role of his. Love this movie and definitely horror, I mean put yourself in Jim's shoes, you you feel absolutely horrified in his situation. Alternatively, 'Dust Devil' by Richard Stanley is a bit like The Hitcher and is definitely a horror.
The Hitcher - A slice of 80's horror/action Heaven. I watched this movie the first time when I was young, during the day, with my family in the house. All I can say I truly didn't grasp its beauty. For this reason I never put it on again thinking it wasn't worth sitting through it's mediocrity.
