Plus he’s at the age range that makes Egypt fascinating to kids. It really is a nice introduction. There isn’t really gore, just a decayed mummy. There are a couple mild jump scares, it can garner interest in classic monster movies, the horror focuses on a cool and not overtly horrifying monster, and the good guys win in the end. He loved it!
