  3. It doesn't stand for anything. The name U.A. is a simplified pronunciation of "Yuu" and "Ei". When they write the school name in Kanji it looks like "雄英 (yuuei)". The word "hero" is "英雄 (eiyuu)”. The 2 Kanjis are flipped to create the school's name.
