  1. It's master storytelling and shows what he does absolutely best, which is character development. I thought I was above Stephen King for many years until I read IT (for what its worth, 11.22.63 has some IT overlap) and couldn't put it down, not because it was scary (it really isn't) but because it was so well written.

  3. 11/22/63 really appeals on several levels. Jake personal story is the most obvious, and in many ways was my favorite aspect of the book. This basic premise was enough to hook me before I even ...

The first book in the series 'The Gunslinger' is the worst of the series IMHO, it was written 20 years before the rest and you can tell. But it's a quick read, and once your past it the series really blossoms. 7. Award.

  6. Just wanted to start off that I absolutely LOVED 11/22/63. The character development is incredible. As for suggestions, I would say if you liked Stephen King's writing style, you could try The Stand. Again, great character development and honestly the best post-apocalyptic book I have read, it's in my top 3 favourite King books

He has written a ton of books of which I had read a handful and liked them very much – but I say with conviction that this book is the best of all that I have read so far. It’s a blend of all elements that make up ...
