Box Office Mojo is usually more reliable, though lately they got some problems on international totals, but they were quickly solved. Mojo is definitely the best all around Box Office website. Pro is cool for their forecasts. They're the only ones who seem to do it consistently. Would really love to get a second opinion for all the domestic totals though. I don't think I've ever needed to use The Numbers for anything specifically Box Office related.
This leaves them prone to exchange rate fluctuations and the like, which is also why BOM's individual territory figures aren't wholly reliable. The total amount worldwide is reliable. But for individual countries there is always problems or even missing data. This sub runs at the mercy of box office mojo.
Dec 29, 2017 · Some public sites such as BoxOfficeMojo (a part of Amazons IMDB network) have interactive pages with weekly data for many countries, but the data is inconsistent over time (in the UK some older pages only list the top 20 movies not all movies currently showing and there are occasional errors especially in the cumulative box office numbers).
