But, Emily Friehl is not a very compelling character and, without any spark between Kutcher and Peet, there is little in the movie to recommend it. Supporting cast is without note, populated by mostly generic characters. One exception is Tyrone Giordano as Oliver’s deaf-mute brother, Graham.
