Granted, it is just a cop show, but in this cop show at least you have the interesting dynamic of an "outsider" humanizing the humans, if you will (in the form of Dorian). It's a cop show but it's a good cop show with great actors and a nicely realized world.

My thinking was more along the lines of having a human pilot in the cockpit or a human driver behind the wheel, even if the automated system can actually do the job safer and more accurately. It is an interesting aspect of their future society that the show's writers could explore to good effect.
