Well, I have my 130XE (still works), and on my more modern laptop, I've got Altirra working. But I'm looking for a decently useful emulator for my Android tablet (Galaxy Tab S2.) I've tried Colleen, which works, mostly, but hasn't been updated in years, and configuring it is turning out to be a pain.
I've found ZXSpin to be the best of the free ones and the paid Spectaculator emulator to be the best of all. For Atari 8 bit, Altirra will serve your needs. For the ST, Steem SSE has served me very well.
But there is good news. Altirra has a portable mode that stores the settings in an .ini file in the same directory as your emulator. For complete instructions and a walkthrough watch the video below
