I really really loved the Battlezone games and I've been hoping something similar would come out and fix the problems the Battlezone games had, namely the awful AI. That said, I seem to remember the second Bzone being significantly more difficult than the first, and the first was pretty hard after the initial couple planets anyway.
Dec 30, 1999 · I have been playing Battlezone for 14 years and Battlezone II for 12 years now and have spent many hundreds of dollars on other games, yet I have not found any other game that compares to Battlezone or Battlezone II. The current patch version - from one of the original programmers, Nathan Mates - as of August 2012 is 1.3.6.2.
Among the multiplayer maps, there was a map with a futuristic tunnel-like place. But this is such a fragmentary memory that I couldn't figure out which game to link it to. But when I was looking for another game called outwars, I saw a video of a game called Battlezone 2: Combat Commander on YouTube, and at first I didn't give a damn.
