May 1, 2018 · Battlezone Gold Edition selectable for non-VR PC is a great arcade game fabulously brought up to date with its own genre of graphics and style of gameplay. No single title is ever perfect in gameplay, content or overall quality, but they can be damn near close.
In 1993, the replicated version of Battlezone was included in Microsoft Arcade for PC with Windows 3.1 and Windows 95, and Mac version for Apple Macintosh. Battlezone 2000 for the Atari Lynx was released in 1995.

With Battlezone becoming widly successful, Atarisoft ported the game to many home consoles and computers around 1983. The original PC was quite close to the arcade version, the graphics and movement were sufficient but the game lacked sound effects during gameplay.
