Nov 7, 2018 · Overall, Battlezone: Gold Edition is a feature-rich remake of what was a very simplistic 1980’s arcade game. You may prefer the authenticity of actually being in a tank with the PS VR version, but the Switch edition is just as great, if not better due to being able to take the title on-the-go.

Aug 17, 2023 · Following in the footsteps of the original 1980 arcade game of the same name, Battlezone is a First-Person Action game with Roguelike elements where players drive a tank across a digital landscape, fighting other tanks, as well as airborne enemies and stationary turrets.
Jan 3, 2019 · 6/10. Good. While a bit short on the replayability side, and with visuals that look good, but not as good as they would do so with the use of a VR headset, Battlezone: Gold Edition is a fun tank arena shooter, with a surprisingly strong strategic mindset.
Dec 10, 2018 · Battlezone: Gold Edition is fantastic for the PlayStation 4 and just as good on the Nintendo Switch. On the PlayStation 4, players can play with or without VR at 60fps, and with a spectacular visual presentation. The visuals are reminiscent of Battlezone roots in the arcades and also remind me of the eclectic visuals of Tron.
