As trends change various personalities fall in and out of favor. Bowfinger came a long at a time when Murphy was out of favor. So people missed it. The movie was funny and it was awesome to see Murphy and Martin together. I challenge people to go back and watch Eddie Murphy's 'Dave'. That movie was also hilarious and over looked.
