Absolutely. Ohio State has good academics, a pretty decent campus, and a family of students and alumni who all share a strong universal connection. I think what outs Ohio State above other colleges though is the insanely large amount of opportunities to get involved with so many different things.
Depends on what you're looking for in your experience, what major you want, what state you're from, what the other school is, etc. Give any of that info, and I'd be able to give you a more direct answer. I liked Ohio State, and the size is definitely a good thing (most the time).
