Calamity is essentially a DLC crossed with a huge content mod. Fargo’s soul / mutant mod adds Quality Of Life (QOL), and can double as a tiny content mod as there are very few new bosses.
Is it a good idea to play calamity with Fargo’s mods? I’m worried about HUGE balance issues regarding the accessories, a little off balance is fine but I want a bit of challenge. My bitch ass is to p**sy to play eternity mode either so I wouldn’t have access to the super game breaking accessories.
I know that calamity is fully compatible with both Fargo’s soul mod and Fargo’s mutant mod. Most of the things added in soul mod are absurdly expensive and in my opinion work well with calamity.
Apr 2, 2022 · Calamity has much more non-boss content to offer, whereas Fargo's mod reduces grinding and adds various quality-of-life changes. If you have completed both or just generally have your opinion, I'd be glad to hear which one you think offers the better experience in regards to difficulty vs. fun.

Nov 19, 2023 · Fargo feels more vanilla while Calamity fits whatever it can. Fargo stays similar to Vanilla difficulty while Calamity goes a bit further with how hard it can get. So the answer is get Stars Above.
