The better videogame-to-film adaptations succeeded (to some extent) because they found a way to get the game to work as a film, not because they tried to stuff the game into a film. Mortal Kombat was a martial arts film, which focused on the martial arts, and did just enough justice to the game to satisfy the fans.
There are people saying that this is the worst movie ever, obviously they have not seen the recent spoof movies and some movies made by Uwe Boll. Street fighter: the legend of Chun-Li is actually entertaining, it has actually some great music to follow the story and from my point, it makes the movie more entertaining.

There are so few words to described the unmitigated dumpster fire that is “ Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li ” but I will do my damndest to try and pull every insult I can muster for it.
However, not only did 2009’s “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” lose the studio money, it was even worse than the 1994 film (something many probably never thought possible). Besides the terrible writing and cardboard acting, “The Legend of Chun-Li” was also criticized for less-than-stellar fight scenes.
