Mar 28, 2022 · As part of its new model together with WeWork, one of the leading global flexible workspace providers, Currys will equip its 1000+ corporate workforce with WeWork All Access passes, enabling them to visit over 50 UK WeWork locations.
In response to an employee survey revealing 90% preferred hybrid working, Currys initiated a partnership with Champion Health for wellbeing support and set up an online Hybrid Working Hub with resources and guidance to support its Hybrid Working Principles of Be Connected, Be Intentional, Be Inclusive and Be Flexible.
- Listening to colleagues and making strategic changes based on their feedback. This won’t be news to any HR, employee experience or internal comms professionals but there are still C-Suite execs yet to realise that their colleagues know a useful thing or two.
- Committing to permanent office space for 400 colleagues in Central London by Waterloo station. At a far more convenient location for colleagues travelling from various locations around the Greater London area.
- Ensuring there are a variety of physical places for colleagues to collaborate in person. There are many studies and common-sense arguments for the value of collaborating and creating both virtually and in person.
- Converting unused space in some of its stores into offices. The hope here is by closing the physical gap between colleagues on the ground supporting customers and those in offices will help bring divided teams closer.
Working in close collaboration with our National Forum colleagues across the UK, we’ve created new policies to help everyone feel that they belong here. This includes IVF Support, Premature Birth Support, Pregnancy Loss Support, Gender Reassignment Support and Menopause Support.

Our aim is to create the perfect mix of working options to allow us all to collaborate, connect and do our best work. Depending on the business needs, our hybrid policy ranges from 3 days a week in the office to 1-2 days a month.
