Today I watched in the mood for love for the first time. This is my first Wong kar wai film and I have many things to discuss about this film. First of all the performances are outstanding Tony Leung literally nails it, the cinematography is beautiful and I liked the camera work by Wong.
The main theme of this movie is really the things that go unsaid, in every way possible. Both actors are terrific. Leung has a face of instant empathy. He feels like a genuinely good person and we want him to find love, which he doesn't have with the wife he rarely sees.
