- StrangerVille. Like I mentioned above, StrangerVille is the fan-favorite game pack for Sims 4. It does so many things right, everything from the amount of content to the way the gameplay is structured.

Nexus has been an established site for mods for a long time, but no general mod site is safe now. Mod guard is a good thing to have but won't protect you from everything 100%. The best place to get Sims mods is directly from the modder's personal site or Patreon. Inspect everything you download and make sure there are not unexpected script files.

From bug fixes to simply giving yourself more control over your game, this is one mod pretty much everyone should install for The Sims 4.

In the U.S. the PSN store has the gold version for $53.99. It's normally $90 and includes the 2 story expansions as well as quite a few weapon, character and costume packs. The 2 story expansions really increase the game's length so the deal is pretty good. I would definitely recommend getting it. Just got it for $32 on epic sale.
