I've already beaten the game once on console and now I want to play around with mods. I especially want a cheat mod that removes weapon degradation altogether because I just want to be able to go ham with my strongest weapons without worry about the costs.
Nov 30, 2019 · After getting many requests for features to add I thought out to design a menu that could let people create the experience they wanted in dead island (kind of a way to teach myself programming as well) and with that I'm proud to announce Deadisland Definitive mod menu.
This mod increases the level cap from 60 to 100, incorporates proper health increases, buffs many skills for Xian and Perna to make them actually useful, and adds several quality of life changes to make the game much more enjoyable.
A safe way to mod Dead Island is to go to your installation directory and enter the folder named "DI". If you are using steam it should be in your steamapps folder: Once inside the folder you will see several files with a .pak extension. These files are simply zipped containers for the game's configuration files.
Dead Island 1 was pretty innovative at the time which is why it was awesome. Dying Light 1 took the concept and made it 1000x better. Dying light 2 took a few steps back but is still a solid game. Dead Island 2 is Dead Island 1 with prettier graphics, insane gore physics, and a goofier story in a different location.

Definitely hope dlc/updates give this an endgame. It feels good to play, your attacks have impact. The game is surprisingly good looking, the gore effects are terribly great, most of the characters are likeable enough to play multiple characters and feel relatively differently when switching around.
