  4. Their mission to kill the Outsider seems to be a solution. It absolves Daud of his guilt and gives Billie a purpose. In the monologue before the last mission, Billie even says that (I don’t remember the exact quote) she finally feels like she’s doing something important, that she’s not just a product of the fucked up world anymore.

  6. Emily knocking out Stilton in D2 (the "canon" story) means Billie Lurk didn't lose her arm to Karnacan thugs trying to save him. When Emily returns to the Dreadful Wale, Billie's arm and eye have been restored because of this. (She never lost them). The Outsider returns to correct the error in time.
